This is what a giant monster movie should be: genuine acting, clever camera work, and minimal visual effects. This film is a perfect example of what to do with a limited budget, and it exudes the one thing that these types of movies should always strive to have: subtlety.
I look forward to what Gareth Edwards comes up with next.
