It doesn't quite live up to it's excellent idea, but it's' very enjoyable. The story is a good one and the characters are interesting, unlike in some alien movies where it's all about the action! If you're looking for that type of a movie, non-stop action, no story, just shooting, you ain't gonna like this movie.
There were only a few action scenes, and not many monsters are seen, but that's what makes it more intense! And, I'd recommend this movie to the people who are mature enough to understand this kind of a film, so no kids!
