What starts as an interesting a slow-paced movie really tries one's patience by the end. The DVD cover is totally misleading, suggesting a sci-fi action film. What we get is an arty travel movie. While the budget was clearly low, saving the monsters for a couple of brief appearances in the dark, the film still didn't achieve with an interesting plot or engaging character development.
