It's unique storyline is what immediately stood out for me... The idea of introducing children to horror-esque events in a fun and cartoon-y environment is not something too common, but this was a valiant effort.
.. I have to say the characters were fleshed out, the concept was original and the animation style was actually really good... Overall, it was a a great movie!
