Review of Monster House (2006) by Paulk. — 18 Jul 2006
This was more like 6.5, but I rounded up. Chowder got me laughing and there was some intrigue to the plot, until the flashback sequence. After that, it was more or less "scare" by the numbers.
I don't have children, but I agree with Michelle C. about this movie having too many inappropriate scenes for a rating of "PG". Uvula, anyone? Stay through the beginning of the credits, if you must see this in the theater.
