Very good with superb special effects, the 3D is so enjoyable! This one is an exciting and hilarious thrill-ride tale about three kids who must do battle with a mysterious house that threatens anyone who crosses its path because inside the home lives a vengeful human spirit (Constance) angry at the world for what happened to her.
The Monster House is owned by Mr. Nebbercracker (Steve Buscemi), the crotchety old neighbor across the street who threatens anyone who trespasses upon his lawn with their very lives..I liked the three adventurous kids: DJ, Chowder and Jenny who lost her entire Halloween stash to the house and was nearly eaten alive herself.
So they venture inside the house to try and eliminate the spirit/monster so it no longer becomes a threat. Watching it in 3D was a treat, the images seem to pop out of the screen..I just wish I had a 70 inch 3D HDTV! Highly recommended for adults and children at least 10 years or older.
.the little ones will probably get scared..
