Review of Monster House (2006) by Shelley S — 21 Oct 2009

This movie was kinda weird. It was pretty cool visually, but it got weirder and weirder. If I was a little kid, this movie probably would creep me out, it was kinda scary and the wife seemed kind of evil, but I guess she was just crabby because her soul was stuck in the house? I thought the best parts of the movie was how the house looked like human parts inside, that was pretty cool, and I loved it when the hippie/stoner dude crawled out of the junk pile.

That was pretty funny. I'm also glad the old man didn't die, that part was kinda creepy. It was such a weird little odd movie. Even my friend who is super artsy and kinda emo (loves zombie movies and gory stuff) even thought this movie was a little weird for a kid's movie or at least I thought it was a kid's movie.
