Review of Monster High: Haunted (2015) by Carrie T — 24 Nov 2015
Give him the chains.
Monster High starts getting visitors from ghost teenagers from another school. Spectra Vondergeist is from the ghost school and goes back looking for why other ghosts are visiting. She discovers a girl from the school may have opened a portal and her old school is ruled by a ruthless head master. She leads a group of friends from Monster High to her old school to save the day.
"Who is doing this to me?".
"You're doing it to yourself.".
Three directors collaborate to deliver this addition to the Monster High ongoing movie series. The storyline for this picture is actually fairly interesting and the chained students plot was entertaining. The animation style was very solid and I absolutely adored the new characters.
"Just the site of these scaly wags shivers my timbers.".
My daughter and I watch all of these movies on Netflix but I had to purchase this blu ray and watch it together with her. I was so excited about this movie when it was released because it contained the character Kiyomi Haunterly and I couldn't believe a character would have the same name as my daughter. I loved this movie and I know this is going to be a Monster High Christmas after this picture.
"I told you not to scare me.".
Grade: A+.
