Review of Monsoon Wedding (2001) by Chris S — 12 Jul 2008

This film about family and love is definitely a feast for the eyes with its vibrant colors, mostly yellow and orange, and its pleasant setting and atmosphere. It ends with not a sappy ending but surely a satisfying one.

The ensemble cast is as colorful as the visuals in this film. The music is also catchy and pleasing to the ears. The film is not exactly flawless or perfect but without doubt, this quickly goes to my top favorites.
