Review of Monsieur Verdoux (1947) by Benjamin S — 21 Oct 2008
Wickedly funny comedy with Chaplin as a modern day bluebeard in France. Hilarious scenes and takes from all actors involved. Best scenes come with Martha Raye and Chaplin trying every chance he has to kill her with no avail.
Wonderfully directed by Chaplin with all his magic touches!
