Review of Monsieur Lazhar (2011) by Tony H — 10 Feb 2012
Excellent. I have nothing but praise for this movie's sensitivity, its camera work, its acting (particularly some *amazing* acting by children). I loved the normalcy of the scenes and the people. It was a movie if *ordinary* people - fat and thin, ugly and pretty, talented and klutzy.
The plot itself was simultaneously delicate AND hard-hitting. A masterpiece.
