My least favorite of the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar nominees, Monsieur Lazhar is nonetheless well worth seeing. It tells a touching story of people trying to get over their tragic losses. Fellag gives a marvelous performance with humor, energy, and charm.
In addition, the child actors, particularly Sophie Nelisse, are some of the best I have seen and the ending is subtle and beautiful. Go see this if you have time and want to feel good.
