Review of Monkey Shines (1988) by Jason D — 10 Feb 2008
A complete 180 for George Romero as he now takes on killer monkeys and suspense rather than zombies. This story centers around a student who is hit by a car and becomes a quadriplegic. After that, a friend hooks him up with a helper monkey who forms a strong enough bond with her new owner that she starts carrying out his rage on frustrations on people by KILLING THEM!!! Pretty decent and suspenseful movie that turned many people away which is a shame because it is a very underrated movie.
