I've heard that this is historically inaccurate..true anyone? Well Im gonna believe so until proven wrong, which is a big problem in a bio-pick such as this. Also, there were some HUGE plot issues, for example, how did he randomly escape from the shackles? Why did he look all decrepid in the cage, but then when given the key springs to life and escapes easily? How could he survive falling through ice and just lying there?!?! Is there no hypothermia in ancient Mongolia? But besides all these things, the movie had a lot of good aspects.

The directing was great, showing some beautiful shots and scenery. The acting was good, nothing spectacular but it really didn't need to be. The action scenes were awesomely well staged and bloody.

I had a small problem with some of the action though; it looked as if some of the shots were taken right out of 300. The final battle felt a bit like a cop-out, but o well it was super epic. Special effects were very good also.

If this wasn't about Mr. Ghengis, I would have liked it 23423 times more. The jumps in plot from earlier could be associated to myth (like flying people in other asian films) and so could the ending battle scene.

But this is a BIO-pic, should be true. So really, you should just see this for the cool action and great viaual content, not to be informed on Ghengis Kahn (until I am proven otherwise).
