Review of Mongol: The Rise of Genghis Khan (2007) by Adryan G — 31 Jan 2009

Pretty, but not quite adequate either as a political drama, romance or action film. For a film that positions itself as an insight into the Mongol culture of the time, it didn't do much to get me into that mindset.

I didn't invest in any of the characters, although I did find some of the situations they were in thought provoking.
