Review of Mongol: The Rise of Genghis Khan (2007) by Tim D — 16 Apr 2009
Some of the edits left me wondering "what just happened?" The cinematography was fantastic, though, and the acting quite good. The native language helped to draw me in to the story, and the subtitles did not detract from it in the slightest. Someone told me that this was the first of three movies about Genghis Kahn -- if this is true, I will certainly be in line to watch the next one.
A great story of love, integrity and perseverance. Recommended.
