Review of Mongol: The Rise of Genghis Khan (2007) by Craig M — 10 Aug 2009
Very good movie depicting the early years of Gengis Khan (Temujin), his rise to power and the consolidation of the Mongol tribes. Cinematography is excellent, acting was superb and the decision to film in Mongolian was a good one.
Well worth watching!
The first of a trilogy, I can't wait for the second installment - The Great Khan. I understand that it is slated for release next year.
