Review of Mongol: The Rise of Genghis Khan (2007) by Tom L — 26 Dec 2009

For me Mongol is too ambitious in trying to tell Temujin's story in two hours and feels rushed. I've read a lot on The Mongols and I don't like the way the this film portrays The Great Khan and his story.

The film itself is beautifully shot and runs smoothly, giving a brief insight into the fascinating Mongolian culture though.
