The first of a planned trilogy on the life of Genghis Khan, "Mongol" is a beautifally filmed and well acted movie. Breathtaking cinematography throughout the film and some really exciting action sequences.
The movie moves at a good pace until the end where it seems we zip right past some key events we should have seen. But that aside, "Mongol" is a strong film and leaves you anxious for the next movie.
