Review of Moneyball (2011) by Julian B — 20 Oct 2012
Reminscent of Jerry Maguire in a sense, "Moneyball" is legit and gives a crisp illustration in the world of baseball. It is soulful and moving and gives you a sense of a belief that movies can be powerful.
Based on a true story, the process of winning is projected here in a smart and humourous way. The small-market team that created history is really moving. One does not need to like baseball to become involved in this film.
A great film with a sharp script that makes us realize that heart is what is important as well as perseverance.
