Review of Moneyball (2011) by Cheyne L — 24 May 2013

I'm not a big fan of sports films, but 'moneyball' is so much more than that. it has a great cerebral edge to it, thematically and otherwise. the writing is sharp and the direction complements greatly .

. the characters are balanced, complex, and easily sympathized with .. every shot, ever line, every word has purpose and one can tell the thought that went into this .. this film was conceived and executed near perfectly.

when i'm hard pressed to think of how a film could improved, even if it's not my usual cup, there's something really special there, moneyball is a great example of the power of cinema, where less is more and more means everything .
