Review of Moneyball (2011) by Graham K — 06 Nov 2012
Having recently got into baseball, I did enjoy the terminology ('no bunts') but far more than that, this is a film that does not glamourise the world of modern professional sport, nor cast its eye back in sepia tones, to a mythical golden age.
Instead, it celebrates the simplicities of the game, through modern, statistical methods. Oh, and finely acted all around!
