Review of Money Monster (2016) by Becca L — 25 Jun 2016
This was kind of just there for me to see so I saw it, and, was pleasantly.
surprised. The acting is very strong, especially Julia Roberts, the action is present and the suspense is there, but not shoved down your throat, and fairly intense. The story is in real time because it's on Live TV so it moves along fairly quickly, even though there are a few down and slow moments when there is no dialogue where Clooney and the Gunman are just sitting there, but the emotion that they are showing is very strong. It's a good popcorn thriller and worth a watch. RECOMMENDED for the strong performances and the fact that it's only 90 minutes, so a good 90 minute movie is never a bad thing.
