Review of Money Monster (2016) by Robert J — 28 May 2016
Jodie Foster seems to be the last director in Hollywood who knows how to make a movie star movie. This is the Cliff Notes version of the financial crisis but it is well made, uses George and Julia to the max of their personas (best use of star power I have seen in years) and tells a fast moving, somewhat absurd story of how we all get screwed. Well worth the time and ticket price.
In NYC bring your own popcorn because prices for that crap make internet companies look reasonably priced on the market...$6.08 for a small popcorn? - Not this boy.
