Review of Mona Lisa Smile (2003) by Pérola P — 13 Jun 2009
Charming and enjoyable this movie can be taken in two levels. One deeper in the exploration of the role of the 1950s woman. The other simply as a feel good movie. A little predictable, however it does boasts excellent performances from Maggie Gyllnhal and Kirsten Dunst.
Beautifully shot, fully researched and well produced. I would definitely recommend it.
