Review of Mon Oncle (1958) by Matt R — 24 Jul 2007
A man struggling to come to terms with his family's obsession with technology doesn't sound anything great, but Tati of course turns it into a masterpiece. Probably my third fave of his after Les Vacances and Jour de Fete, but still head and shoulders over 90 per cent of modern cinema.
