I had trouble staying awake the first couple times I tried to watch this, probably b/c it's a bit too droll at first. this seems like a good movie to own, though, for two reasons: 1) it works great when viewed in 10-minute episodes and 2) I think it would get better & better after a few complete viewings.
I really admire mr. hulot.
