Review of Mon Oncle (1958) by Jani L — 31 Oct 2007
Mon Oncle is a wonderful visual comedy that plays like a silent film, with very little dialogue. Great, subtle comedy about consumerism and modernism.. Also many intriguing shots. Mon Oncle is all about long takes from a distance, you don't see many close-ups here.
. Delightful, memorable and charming characters and many fun visual details all over the film.
