Unfortunately this is no "M. Hulot's Holiday" and while there are many, many glimpses of Tati's cinematic genius (even the Rear Window-esque shot when Hulot enters his flat for the first time is a delight) it has real trouble sustaining the viewer's interest.
Not just for the completist, but you need patience...
