Review of Mommie Dearest (1981) by Justin G — 25 Feb 2008
The overall acting and set up was fantastic in this movie and Faye Dunaway did a marvelous job "portraying" Joan Crawford. This child actress was also unbelievable and showed a very strong acting responsibility.
My reason for the lower score was because of the overall story itself Joan Crawford took her life and exploited it to make a fool of her mother and make her look like the biggest, sluttiest, psychotic, alcoholic bitch she could.
I guess taking revenge on a dead women really isn't up my block. I felt she could have done this movie in a different less attacking way.
