Review of Mommie Dearest (1981) by Anthony I — 29 Mar 2014
Ugh, what a mess. Faye Dunaway abandons all subtlety in this loud, obnoxious and quite frankly disrespectful look at the motherhood of Joan Crawford. Its entertaining in the same regard as "The Room" is.
The acting is so bad, its laughable. If anything, you should watch it for a good chuckle. But if your looking for a gripping biopic, stay far away from this one.
