Review of Molly's Game (2017) by Grant D — 04 Oct 2018
All of the Aaron Sorkin main trademarks (snappy dialogue, smart characters) are here and for the most part this is a great directorial debut by him. Jessica Chastain is excellent as always and the story is captivating, with the only issue being that this plays out like your typical "based on a true story" film.
It's rather formulaic.
