Review of Molly's Game (2017) by Niels D — 06 Apr 2018
Skillfully made film about the life of Molly Bloom (played by Jessica Chastain) who built a gambling empire but lost everything after things start spiralling out of control. Real fireworks spark off the screen during some of the dialogue scenes, between Molly and her lawyer (Idris Elba) but most certainly during a touching scene between Molly and her dad (another good supporting role for Kevin Costner) towards the end.
Good cinema about an incredible life story.
