The only real light of this movie is seeing two of the most beautiful women ever in Ava Gardner and Grace Kelly. John Ford directs the movie terribly, Clark Gable weight and age make him nothing like a irresistible adventurer as he portrays.
Plus this movie is more like a discovery in film making based on using trained safari animals for one of the first times.
