Review of Modigliani (2004) by God? — 06 Apr 2006
A tragic, tragic film. Attempting to ride on the successes of The Godfather, complete with an utterly over-dramatized soundtrack (plus Andy Garcia's laughable accent), this collapses from the start, where we see a sobbing woman utter a thoroughly clichéd question, heard before in a million classic romance films.
Only better.
