Review of Modern Vampires (1998) by Private U — 18 Aug 2008
Actually quite entertaining, in that late-night boredom sort of way. Richard Elfman is a great underground director who will sadly never make it to the mainstream, despite the good influence he'd be. However, he's a decent director, and a cool guy, and I hope to see more from him, hopefully a Forbidden Zone follow-up.
Also, this film contains a notable performance from one of my favorite comedians/actors, Craig Ferguson. His performance is worth at least a rental, for true fans.
