Review of Modern Times (1936) by Alex F — 23 Oct 2008
Modern times is such an interesting movie that it would take more than this space to talk about it. One of the most moving parts for me was hearing Chaplin singing in a nonsense mixture of languages that you still have to watch him perform with his body in order to understand what the song is about.
His subtle way to give the finger to the talkies. Just brilliant!
