Review of Modern Times (1936) by Octavio M — 06 Jan 2009
The relevance of the themes presented on this film are simply timeless. What I loved about this film was that it was a comedy that touched on was how Chaplin related to the common man: the unemployed common man that was in search of a steady job. In the case of Chaplin, he does not atain not even the simplest of jobs.
Another facet of this film that facinated me, was that it was a satire of the working conditions throughout the great depression. Rent this film, it'll be worth you're precious time.
