Review of Modern Times (1936) by Samuel W — 10 Aug 2009
Modern Times to me, is an amazing achievement in film making. Even with the vast majority of the movie being devoid of dialog, Charles Chaplin manages to tell a romantic, hilarious story about a man and a women who are just trying to survive and be happy.
Such a testament to the films quality that over 70 years after it originally released that it can still have such an impact.
