Review of Modern Times (1936) by James-Masaki R — 17 Jul 2010
Chaplin's final film as the Tramp character may be his best. It's technologically advanced, never a boring moment, politically and emotionally resonating, even after all these years later. And still relevant to thing happening now.
And, the tramp finally speaks on film! But that's a surprise for all... It' infinitely rewatchable, and there will never be another movie like this ever. Especially the cocaine eating scene!
