Review of Modern Times (1936) by Garrett C — 28 May 2011
While I did find the film highly enjoyable all the way through (especially loved the end). I believe it started lacking after the beginning scenes in the factory. The film does have moments after, but nothing making me fall out of my chair like the feeding machine scene.
I think the problem is Chaplin hit me hard with big laughs in the beginning, but left something desired when the rest wasn't as good. Still a great film and I would recommend it to anyone.
