Review of Modern Times (1936) by Aj V — 07 Sep 2011
The beginning of this movie is the most memorable, I think, and then the rest can feel a little redundant with Chaplin going in and out of jail so many times. It really is very funny, though, I'm not saying the humor is redundant at all, just the story.
And it's realistic, showing the real problems of technology and progress on our society, which is what I love most about this movie. I just wanted a better ending. Otherwise it's a great film.
