Review of Modern Times (1936) by Jonathan B — 23 Feb 2012
I must admit that I came into this film (my first of Chaplin's films) after viewing many of Buster Keaton's films and was expecting a similar 'recipe'. I should not have assumed this. I found Modern Times to be a comedic look into industry and work, but personally found less laughs than I had anticipated.
I do believe Chaplin's style will grow on me.
