Review of Modern Times (1936) by Andrew C — 14 May 2013
Classic Chaplin... My second favorite of his films that I've seen so far, but still all of his greatest areas of expertise come out in this film. His physical comedy and film-making is remarkable. His satire of the working man is still relevant today, and his song "Smile" is one that will always be remembered and gets stuck in your heart after hearing it just once.
One of the greatest films ever from early American cinema. Classic.
