I can guarantee that this movie will make you laugh if you aren't a closed-minded asshole about old movies. this movie is black-and-white, and silent, but the humor isn't dated in the slightest.
he is absolutely fucking hilarious. and he does this one scene that will freak you out. no special effects, no clever camera angles, no trickery, Charlie Chaplin blindfolds himself and skates in an area with a big fucking hole to the first floor in the middle of the room! and like 5 times he manages to skate RIGHT ON THE FUCKING EDGE OF IT!! and it's REAL!! he had no idea where the hell he was skating, he just managed not to freaking KILL HIMSELF!! seriously, wow, that takes some serious balls.
one of my favorite movies ever.
