Review of Modern Times (1936) by Peggy W — 27 Jun 2009
This just wasn't as good as some of Chaplin's other films. The physical comedy wasn't up to par and the story didn't seem to develop at all. I don't understand why this is considered in the same class as City Lights and The Gold Rush.
