Review of Modern Times (1936) by Robert B — 02 Oct 2015
Modern Times is perhaps Chaplin's most apt and correct jab at modern life and modern man. Still as poignant as ever, the 1936 classic taught us the technology is not always a good thing and that even more important, most times the simple things are the best.
The mocking of labor, communism, fascism, police, insanity, and prison life is nothing short of genius.
