Moana could have been a great film, however Disney lost sight of the story. Lilo and Stitch built heavily on the Polynesian heritage and ancestry. Actual Hawaiian songs were used. The music in Moana is totally lacking this depth.
Though animation is breath taking it lacks the awe of Finding Nemo. Story dragged in several spots. Still this is an. enjoyable film.
