Review of Moana (2016) by Ghoist — 29 Mar 2017

I'm not one to give a 10 easily, but this movie is near perfect, so I'm pulling the trigger and rounding up from like a 9.6 to give it a 10. The story (based of actual Polynesian mythology) is engaging, empowering, uplifting, super unique and interesting.

The songs are all amazing and I can see making a case that it's a better overall collection than Frozen, but I'm not ready to say that definitively. Overall it's one of the best animated films in the last few years even though it really doesn't get as much respect as it probably should.
