Review of Moana (2016) by Steven V — 08 Feb 2017

Moana isn't the most original thing ever and isn't as fantastic as Zootopia, as it is derivative of other better Disney films and has pacing problems here and there. However, Moana makes up for it by offering some new likable characters in the Disney "canon", despite being not so interesting, great music (although not as grand or amazing as the music in other Disney films), amazing visuals and animation, as well as a few new fresh elements to make itself somewhat more unique from other Disney films.

Moana is a satisfying new entry into Disney's new modern animation renaissance.
